If you follow JK Rowling or the mystery novel scene, you're probably aware of the Cormoran Strike series of detective novels she started writing under the name Robert Galbraith. In these novels, detective Cormoran Strike lives in London and solves crimes with his trusty assistant Robin Ellacot. Although they're not what I'd call cozy mysteries (they're set in modern-day London and they're a bit gritty at times), I devoured all three quickly and I eagerly await the fourth entry into the series.

Not long ago, it was announced that the series would be turned into a BBC1 television show featuring Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger.  Today, the Robert Galbraith Facebook page shared a few photos from filming. An air date has not yet been named, but filming will last through next April. If you haven't already read the books, this would be a great time to do so – or you can busy yourself with another show from our Big List of British Mysteries while you wait.
